This museum commemorates the achievements of Koga Masao, the proud composer of Okawa and the first musician to be awarded the National Medal of Honor. While composing, Koga traveled the world as a goodwill ambassador for music. After World War II, he held the Hiroshima Peace Music Festival and is known for appealing for peace through music. The beauty of Koga’s melodies resonates with many people. The museum displays his favorite guitar and music sheets; mini concerts are held on the fourth Sunday of every month at 10:00 a.m.
